Exodus

When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.

Hosea 11:1

Greetings from Aqaba. I crossed the Red Sea yesterday. I was exhausted after Greece. The trip is waxing long, and I am getting tired. I didn’t do much cycling in Cairo. There is no such thing as a stop sign, lane divider, or traffic light in that city. After my one ride, I noted that walking would be faster, and locked up the bike for the duration. Researching security, I saw that I was going to have to bus through the Sinai. I figured the real journey Exodus started when the sea parted, so I would still share in the experience.

  1. Touche re traffic in Cairo! My rule of thumb was to keep 3 locals on the oncoming side of traffic.
Hope the waters stay parted for you.🙂
